Name: Caroline Stanley
Location: Seattle, WA
Job: Professional Goalkeeper- Seattle Reign FC
Fondest Memory: My fondest memory are summers spent with my little brother and sister. I don't get to go home much to see them. But we all had fun growing up going to the lake and playing sports together.
Soundtrack: That's like asking a mother to choose her favorite child.. Haha! I listen to every genre really. But I love Sam Hunt and Lee Brice.
Retreat: Somewhere by the water. It calms me and helps me see the blessings in my life.
Wildest Dream: To play in the World Cup or Olympics. It's the pinnacle of soccer. And I would be honored to represent my country on the biggest stage. It's been my dream since I was 8.
Proudest Moment: Winning the National Championship my senior year of HS alongside my best friends. It was special because my teammate Caroline Gray's father had just passed from cancer and when we won a huge rainbow appeared.
Biggest Challenge: My biggest challenge is trusting completely in the higher plan for my life. Keeping the perspective that obstacles are simply stepping stones to greatness, not stumbling blocks.
Perfect Day: My perfect day would be waking up to train and play soccer followed by a big brunch (I love breakfast). Then spending time with my friends or family. I love being outside and doing new things. Then ending the day watching the sunset.
Last Purchase: My Mariners hat!
Movie: Warrior
Why the Young & Brave Foundation: Because I believe that love conquers all. And, above all I want to help these beautiful children be given a chance to follow their dreams. I think a little love goes a long way. Imagine what a lot of love can do.
