Hi, my name is Tiffany and I am a 26 year old wife and first time mom to a 17 month old daughter. I was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer on October 25, 2024. I was diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer. It took months of advocating for myself to this diagnosis as doctors thought it was a cyst. But thankfully once my lump was fully removed and a biopsy was done that is when I was heard. From there is when everything progressed fast, thankfully. I feel like it was really hard for me to process everything and still is but having a positive outlook on life in general is what helps me everyday. My treatment plan is a 6 month long chemotherapy journey, 1 year of immunotherapy, following a lumpectomy and a double mastectomy. I am so close but still have a long journey ahead. I am fighting for my family but especially my daughter as she is our miracle baby! I am taking everyday to enjoy the time I have with my daughter and also take care of my body. The hardest part of this journey has been my daughter as she doesn’t understand when mommy can’t play with her. We have been piling up on medical bills but also childcare for my daughter as I am unable to work and we do not have friends and family that can help with her while I am recovering from chemo. But I know at the end of the day we can make it through one day at a time! Thank you!
